Twenty-five minutes outside of New York City, there is a jaw-dropping 25,000-square-foot mansion that graces Bergen County, New Jersey. This palatial estate is truly remarkable in more ways that one.
First off, the mansion is a French manor house with Corinthian stone exterior. It sits on 4 1/2 acres of land and was originally built for family that was still living there as of 2013. Inspired by Palace of Versailles in France, the family who lives there designed the home themselves. A quick tour through the interior reveals a Swarovski crystal chandelier, library, formal dining room, a tennis court and a massive closet that looks like something out of a fantasy.
But the most unique feature of all is found inside the living room, which is just off the Grand Hall. Behold, a gigantic built-in saltwater swimming pool! There’s submerged seating for 40 people and an infinity hot tub that spills over into the pool. This is nuts!
And if that’s not enough, then just wait until you see how the home is powered.
Though the house is a little more extravagant than my own personal tastes, it’s always fascinating to see how other people live. I wouldn’t turn down a vacation there, that’s for sure. Please enjoy this magnificent tour, and SHARE it with your friends on Facebook!
